HUMC Kids & Youth

The Mission of Hubbard United Methodist Church Children’s and Youth Ministry is to provide a Christ-Centered Children’s Ministry so young people can:  Know Christ, Grow in Christ, Become Like Christ, and Go and Serve in Christ’s Love.

Kids of all ages are invited on Sunday’s AND Wednesday’s at HUMC!

Sundays – 8:45am Hymn Sing and 9:00am Worship

Children and Youth are encouraged to remain in the sanctuary with their families during worship.  There are Children’s activity bags near the entrance to the sanctuary, and there is also a table near the back of the sanctuary with quiet activities available.

For our youngest children, (birth – 2) and their parents, there is also a quiet space available in the Youth Room during worship for those who would like to spend time with your child, and also be able to hear the message.

Wednesdays – Join us from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Includes Dinner!)

Tutoring available for Elementary Age Children
Learning the Gifts of the Spirit!
Need help with math? Or just want to play a game? We have you covered!

Kids Club: 1st grade – 4th grade

Wednesday evenings at HUMC offers kids ministry that is filled with games, singing, Bible lessons, crafts, tutoring, dinner, service projects and more! From 1st Grade through Elementary, we will draw on the elements of wonder and discovery so that kids will see God for who God is, to help them see themselves the way God sees them, so they can love others the way God does.  By the time a child transitions out of Children’s Ministry, the kids will be able to TAKE what they’ve learned and LIVE IT OUT!

Offered to kids in 1st grade through 4th grade from September through May.  Join us and bring a friend!

HUMC Youth: 5th grade – 12th grade

What are YOU thankful for?
The children learn about All Saint’s Day
The Youth learn about serving others by washing Pastor Lauren’s feet!
Pickle in the Middle!

At HUMC we offer a safe place for students entering 5th grade through 12th grade to meet, socialize and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  We begin with fun games and activities designed to create teamwork and build a relationship with the group, followed by worship music, a scripture lesson, and a nice warm home cooked meal.
